Magetraining is the world's first and only organization dedicated to training businesses and individuals in on the Magento platform. With offices in the US and the UK, Magetraining aims to provide its services on a global scale.
Magetraining's brand was quite scattered and unfocused when I was first introduced to it. Numerous font families were being used, the colors lacked consistency with the brand, and the logo was relatively forgettable. My intent was to focus the brand, starting with the logo.
The "M" in the logo purposely resembles the Magento logo in attempt to help the audience associate Magetraining with Magento training. I also intentionally used the subtle image of a person opening and reading a book into the logo, symbolic of learning. Finally, tied it all together with a friendly and secure feeling color pallete, and an easy-to-read font-family that complements the logo.
